Ventfield Industries, based in Herve in the province of Liège, specializes in piping and welding. From design to completion, we supply our customers with all work requiring the use of steel. Our customers include manufacturers such as Atlas Copco and Aperam. For the pharmaceutical industry, we work with ‘Black Utilities’. Our food industry customers include Lactalis, as well as dairies, coffee manufacturers, cheese dairies, breweries, etc.
The company employs 25 people, all highly qualified and versatile. They are true craftsmen with a wealth of experience and know-how. They can carry out any piping work. Ventfield also specializes in the manufacture of SKIDS. These are a set of pipes fitted with measuring and control equipment mounted on a carbon steel frame used to transport fluids or cool installations.
Thomas Brochard, a manager at Ventfield for 8 years, suggested to some colleagues that they should buy out all the shares in the company. Aubin Renard (an industrial draughtsman) and Raf Reniers (a salesman) followed suit. They made up the trio of active partners, who were joined by two non-active partners: Jérôme Tilman and Benjamin Beaurang. Most of them began their careers together at Ensival Moret Belgium.
Pierre Thys takes over the company from Luigi Ferrara and Bernard Demoustier. At the same time, he hires Jérôme Tilman and Thomas Brochard.
The company changed its name to Ventfield Industries in the early 2000s, as it gradually took an interest in piping and HVAC activities.
Bernard Demoustier joined the company in 1988. The company built its first industrial hall on rue de Nazareth in Battice the same year. A second hall was built in 1995, followed by a third in 2002.
The company began its activities in the 1970s under the impetus of its founder, Oreste Ferrara. At the time, it was active in industrial electricity. Luigi Ferrara, Oreste's son, then helped to develop and diversify the company's activities over the next few years.
